Optometrist

Dr. Kimura is a California native, born and raised in Orange County where he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Kimura received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry... just a few blocks from where he grew up!

Dr. Kimura is an associate clinical professor at Western University College of Optometry, past president of the Los Angeles County Optometric Society, former treasurer for the California Optometric Political Action Committee, founder of an optometry clinic on L.A.'s Skid Row, and founder of his alma mater's S.V.O.S.H. charitable club that gives free eye examinations and glasses to the needy in foreign countries. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Los Angeles County Optometric Society, AOA-PAC, and COA-PAC.

​Dr. Kimura also likes to devote his time to many charitable events whether it be through his church or through various non-profit organizations.
